Career

Kunchou Tsai is a legal expert specializing in banking, finance, FinTech, and blockchain law. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Enlighten Law Group since 2017, he has developed a firm recognized for its excellence in FinTech law in Asia-Pacific, focusing on cross-border and innovative legal cases.

Kunchou has held various roles as an arbitrator, including with the Shanghai International Arbitration Center and the Chinese Arbitration Association in Taipei. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Financial & Economic Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association and mentors in FinTech and legal matters. His previous experience includes serving as Principal Counsel at Yuanta Commercial Bank, where he managed complex legal issues in the banking sector.

Kunchou holds two LLMs from UC Berkeley and University College London, along with a PhD in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from National Chengchi University and an LLB from National Taiwan University.
