Career
John is a British national who has worked in the recruitment industry for over 15 years. He moved from Scotland to Singapore in 2010 and after 3 years came to Taiwan as the Country Manager for Robert Walters – a British headhunting company with operations in over 30 countries globally. During the last 10 years the business has grown tenfold in Taipei with plans to open further offices in the near future.
Contribution to the Chamber
John has served on the board of the British Chamber for the last two years. In addition, Robert Walters has been a long-time sponsor of the mentoring programme – initially with Women in Business and now the Young Professionals. John believes that the chamber offers a fantastic value to the business community in Taiwan and would be honored to continue to serve on the board.
