John Eastwood

John has many years of professional experience counseling clients on their investment projects, commercial ventures, employment, litigation, and intellectual property and technology matters, within both the Asia region and across the Strait. John is a trusted problem solver for companies, as clients’ investments, technologies, brands, employment relations, commercial and litigation needs often intersect. John also regularly speaks and publishes on legal and policy issues affecting the community, working closely with the UK government and the British Office on programs to help brief UK technology companies considering coming to or doing business in Taiwan.

A father of three (Emma, Anthony and Jake) and husband to one (Frances), John has been in Taiwan for over 23 years. A journalist before he went to law school, John has a passion for photographing and documenting Taiwan's historic sites.
