Career

Jennifer Kang is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. Currently, she serves as the Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand, and Marketing at Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Ltd. Before her relocation to Taiwan in September 2021, Jennifer held the same position in Malaysia. Her journey with Standard Chartered began in 2007, during which she has undertaken various roles in Brunei, Australia, and the Africa Middle East region. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Information Management) degree from the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Jennifer's extensive career reflects her deep expertise and commitment to excellence in her field.

Contribution to the Chamber

Jennifer has been an active participant in the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei, particularly within the Women in Business mentorship programme. As a mentor she has provided guidance and shared insights from her extensive career. Additionally, Jennifer was a speaker at one of the Chamber's Women in Business events, where she discussed the challenges and opportunities in the field of corporate affairs and marketing. Her contributions to these programs have not only supported the professional growth of individuals but also fostered a more inclusive business community in Taipei.
